Part 1 of the Self-Love Series
Hopefully everyone has had a wonderful week. This has been my last week of winter break; classes start again tomorrow, and I could not be more ready. I’ve changed my major from education to English literature, and just reading through my syllabi online was getting me so excited! I can tell the next couple months are going to be amazing, and I hope they’ll be amazing for you, too. Continue reading “The Importance of Loving and Taking Care of Ourselves”
If you want to attract good things, you have to recognize what’s already good.
Hello, my lovely readers!
Hopefully everyone has had a warm and joyful holiday season. I know I’ve really enjoyed spending time with friends and family; it’s been a beautiful celebration of love.
If you’ve been keeping up with this blog for a while (or honestly, even if you’re just glancing at it for the first time), you’ve probably noticed that the things I choose to write about predominantly focus on various ways we can attract greater joy, abundance, and positivity into our lives—things such as practicing mindfulness, living authentically, exploring our creativity, accepting ourselves as we are, toning our chakras, listening to music, expressing gratitude, and embracing purposeful lives. It is through our aloneness that we are able to recharge.
There are many people in this world who feel uncomfortable with being alone. It’s understandable to a point—most people enjoy the sense of community and belonging that comes from spending time with friends and loved ones who care about them. However, finding joy in solitude is really important. It’s during our moments of aloneness that we have the opportunity to go inward, figure out who we are, think about what we want, and connect with our creativity. Feel your feelings. All of them.
Hello, my lovelies!
I hope everyone in the U.S. had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you were able to enjoy every moment with your families. My weekend was certainly fun- and family-filled, and I’m really grateful that all my family members are so close to each other and healthy. My thoughts go out to those who are grieving the loss of loved ones right now—especially since the holiday season is upon us. May you have the strength to move through your days, may you be comforted during times of heartache, and may you be surrounded by infinite love. The fifth piece in the Chakra Series
Welcome back for the fifth piece in my Chakra Series! Since it is the month of Thanksgiving, I feel obliged to say that I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be writing this series of articles, and I feel blessed to be experiencing the opening of my chakras as I write. Continue reading “The Throat Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal”
The third piece in the Chakra Series
Welcome back to my Chakra Series for post #3—the solar plexus chakra! I’m extremely excited to be writing this article today. It has been a week of difficult but for-the-best change in my life, and I’ve felt my solar plexus chakra opening up and radiating with an incredibly intense energy. It feels like I’ve really come into my personal power, to the point where I’ve jokingly warned my friends that they are about to be overwhelmed by the love and energy that’s coursing through my veins, threatening to envelop everything within a 50-mile radius. Continue reading “The Solar Plexus Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal”
The second piece of the Chakra Series
Welcome back for the second article in my Chakra Series! If you didn’t get to check out the first piece in the series, The Root Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal, I suggest that you start there. It’s much easier to balance and open the other chakras if the root chakra, which connects us to the earth, is first balanced. Now, we are going to take a closer look at the sacral chakra, the second of the seven major chakras. Continue reading “The Sacral Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal”
