If you want to attract good things, you have to recognize what’s already good.
Hello, my lovely readers!
Hopefully everyone has had a warm and joyful holiday season. I know I’ve really enjoyed spending time with friends and family; it’s been a beautiful celebration of love.
If you’ve been keeping up with this blog for a while (or honestly, even if you’re just glancing at it for the first time), you’ve probably noticed that the things I choose to write about predominantly focus on various ways we can attract greater joy, abundance, and positivity into our lives—things such as practicing mindfulness, living authentically, exploring our creativity, accepting ourselves as we are, toning our chakras, listening to music, expressing gratitude, and embracing purposeful lives. The fourth piece in the Chakra Series
Welcome back for the fourth post in my Chakra Series, which has everything to do with the heart chakra! With a recent major opening of my heart chakra, this is the perfect time for me to be writing about it. Continue reading “The Heart Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal”
The third piece in the Chakra Series
Welcome back to my Chakra Series for post #3—the solar plexus chakra! I’m extremely excited to be writing this article today. It has been a week of difficult but for-the-best change in my life, and I’ve felt my solar plexus chakra opening up and radiating with an incredibly intense energy. It feels like I’ve really come into my personal power, to the point where I’ve jokingly warned my friends that they are about to be overwhelmed by the love and energy that’s coursing through my veins, threatening to envelop everything within a 50-mile radius. The second piece of the Chakra Series
Welcome back for the second article in my Chakra Series! If you didn’t get to check out the first piece in the series, The Root Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal, I suggest that you start there. It’s much easier to balance and open the other chakras if the root chakra, which connects us to the earth, is first balanced. Now, we are going to take a closer look at the sacral chakra, the second of the seven major chakras. Continue reading “The Sacral Chakra: Signs of Blockage and How to Heal”
The first piece in the Chakra Series
Welcome to my Chakra Series! Last week, I wrote an article called “Chakras: The Basics and How You Can Heal Yours.” There was quite a bit of positive feedback on the article (which I GREATLY appreciated), and to continue on the subject, I decided to begin this series, which will explore and discuss each chakra in greater depth, one at a time. We’ll be looking at the basic information about each chakra, as well as signs of imbalances and blockages and a variety of ways that each chakra can be cleared for optimal healing. A mindful morning will prepare you for a wonderful day.
Is it just me, or are mornings sometimes *a little* hard to handle? Even if I don’t have to go to class or work until 9 or 10 o’clock, I find myself staying in bed until the last possible moment, until I eventually roll out, brush my teeth, grab a granola bar, and head out the door. In my mind, I reason that staying in bed as long as possible will help me be nice and rested for the day ahead. But unfortunately—as I’m sure we have all figured out at some point—this is not the case. Continue reading “5 Ways to Practice Mindfulness in the Morning”
