Houseplants are wonderful. They clean the air, purify the energy of a room, and brighten up the space they occupy. My grandma has three big, beautiful jasmine plants in her living room that fill the space with lush greenery and—a few times a year—the sweet aroma of jasmine flowers. She must have one of the greenest thumbs in the world; sometimes, I’m actually convinced she’s goddess of abundance incarnate. It’s incredible. Welcome to my Chakra Series! Last week, I wrote an article called “Chakras: The Basics and How You Can Heal Yours.” There was quite a bit of positive feedback on the article (which I GREATLY appreciated), and to continue on the subject, I decided to begin this series, which will explore and discuss each chakra in greater depth, one at a time. Music actually does make you happier!
So let me start this out by saying that I have always had a love for music, as most people probably have. As a child, I was a competitive dancer and loved to make music using my tap shoes, and later on, I played the piano. When I was in middle school and high school, I did choir and show choir, and over the years, I have often looked to positive, uplifting music to help me boost my mood.
